Recently, I had the opportunity to stay at the charming Punnamada Resort during Easter, nestled on the serene banks of Vembanad Lake. The rooms, adorned with antique-style furnishings and delightful outdoor bathrooms, really transported me back in time, while the lush greenery and vibrant flowers surrounding the property provided an idyllic setting to explore nature. One highlight of my stay was the exquisite dining experience. Room service delivered delicious North Indian delicacies that complemented the overall stay perfectly. the attentive staff, including GopiKrishna and Shiva, genuinely made us feel welcomed, ensuring that my travel companion's mobility needs were met with care. As an avid cyclist, I relished the tranquil sunset cruise on the lake, facilitated by the charming hosts Ratheesh and Vinod. Their warm hospitality, coupled with the natural beauty of the surroundings, made for an unforgettable evening. I can't recommend Punnamada enough - it truly is a hidden gem, perfect for anyone looking to indulge in Kerala's splendor while immersing themselves in its rich cultural tapestry.
